 Mr. Arjun Bobde’s illustrious family background:

His ancestor, Ramchandra Pant Bobde, and great grandfather, Srinivas Ramchandra Bobde were advocates. Arjun Bobde’s grand father Arvind Shrinivas Bobde was the Advocate-General of Maharashtra between 1980 to 1985. 

His father Shri. Vinod Arvind Bobde was an eminent Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. He was highly respected and much loved by the the entire law fraternity .

Mr.Vinod Bobde was the youngest lawyer ever (at the age of 35), to be conferred the title of Senior Advocate by the Chief Justice and the full Bench of the court.

In a rare gesture of recognition of a lawyer’s professional acumen and integrity, the Chief Justice and the Bench themselves invited Mr. Vinod Bobde to become a Senior Advocate. There was no application by Mr. Bobde for being designated as such, as is the practice.

He was a stalwart in Constitution Law.
